You will need:
a long narrow piece of needle punch batting  12-14" wide, 36-48" long
about 20 leftover jelly roll or scrap cotton strips at least 11/2" wide is good
a piece of backing fabric suitable for  your project. It will depend on how large you want  your runner to be.
