Sewing Tip of the month:
Best Press stabilizer is a great product to use on your fabric before cutting. Just spray lightly and press. This step can be repeated if you want the fabric firmer. Using spray stabilizer give you a firmer fabric allowing your pieces to hold together while sewing and gives crisper seams. Bonus - the fabric frays less!
Embroidery Tip of the month:
Have you tried the new 100% wool mats available now? The wool retains the heat and or steam and reflects it back into the fabric your are pressing. In effect you are pressing both sides are the same time! This especially helpful for pressing embroidery blocks. Placed face down on the mat and pressed from the back means that you do not run the risk of flattening your stitches! Bonus - this mat also works excellently for piecing and setting your seams.
See our Oliso irons, on sale this month $209.98, regularly $249.98
